Hannah Rinehart, MA, LPC, BC-TMH, CPCS

Licensed Professional Counselor

Do you feel overwhelmed as you transition to motherhood? Is parenting not what you thought it would be?  Are there issues from your past that are currently holding you back?

As a mom of 4 kids, I totally get feeling overwhelmed, behind and like you just need a minute to think. I love coming alongside women and teens, moms in the middle years and women transitioning from college to the real world. I love hearing stories and helping you make sense of yours.

Whether it’s constructing family boundaries, processing spiritual hurt, or making sense of the pain of your past, I aim to create a safe environment for you to to make sense of your thoughts, experiences and story.

My Story

Hello! I’m Hannah Rinehart, a board certified counselor and certified counseling supervisor. Through my 18 plus years of counseling, I've loved the opportunity to work with women and teens and families who are tired of feeling stuck and can't figure it out on their own.

How I work

Through a combination of direct and empathetic communication styles, I do my best to address your concerns while offering excellent clinical care and an individualized treatment plan. Before the first session ends, I help my clients figure out what their personal goals are and we outline a few next steps to empower them to begin to immediately make small changes that then lead to a big impact. Your treatment plan, your outside “homework” and everything done in sessions will all be specific to your unique situation.

I don’t treat all things for all people.  I focus on a few key areas, primarily anxiety, depression, and storywork which means that when we help you, I am able to offer evidence-based practices that work and have research and results to prove it. Whether it's OCD, anxiety, social anxiety or other anxiety-related disorders, I love helping clients feel more empowered and no longer labeled by their diagnosis.

I also have extensive experience working with story, narrative therapy, attachment issues, adoption, and foster care support.  I am passionate about equipping families and the children they love so they can transition well into their forever families. I love helping the entire system manage expectations, create boundaries and thrive together.

About Hannah

Outside of counseling I am very involved in the adoption and foster care ministry at our church. As a mom of 4 wonderful kids who joined our family through the gift of adoption, I am also involved in my kids school and want to support those around me not just as a professional, but as a caring, engaged member of my community. My favorite ways to recharge outside of sessions are: time outdoors, cooking, baking, time with God, reading, time with my family of 6, yoga and time with friends.

Hannah’s session fee is $175 per 50-minute session.
