My Story:
For over a decade, I worked in banking and wealth management, helping individuals and families build financially successful lives. But along the way, I noticed something: many people who seemed to “have it all” on the outside were carrying deep, unspoken questions beneath the surface, questions about identity, purpose, and what truly brings fulfillment.
If that sounds like you, welcome! My name is Sandy Habib, and I am a counseling resident, working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia, dedicated to helping individuals turn seasons of uncertainty into transformative growth.
I know firsthand the exhausting weight of major life transitions. My own life has been shaped by massive chapters of change: immigrating to the United States, adapting to an entirely new culture, transitioning from a demanding corporate career into motherhood, and later pursuing my true calling in counseling. I understand the courage it takes to stop, reevaluate your values, and discover your authentic self.
Through my own journey and a profound spiritual renewal, I discovered my passion: helping high-achieving adults, professionals, and expats navigate their emotional struggles and discover hope, resilience, and meaning.
How I Work:
Therapy with me is for adults who are asking, “What’s next?” Whether you are navigating a major career pivot, relationship challenges, or a deeper shift in your faith and identity, I provide a space where you don’t have to figure it out alone.
I work primarily with adults, especially women, professionals, entrepreneurs, immigrants, and expatriates who are navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, cultural adjustment, or midlife crises that invite them to reevaluate their priorities, purposes, and belonging.
Many of my clients are successful, capable people who find themselves feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, and uncertain about the next season of their lives.
My approach is warm, genuine, and collaborative. I consider therapy as a journey, and together we will;
- Uncover the Roots: Look beneath surface-level anxiety to understand the deeper patterns and beliefs holding you back.
- Navigate Transitions: Equip you with practical tools to manage burnout, transitional stress, and explore your new self.
- Honor Your Values: Explore existential concerns and spirituality. For clients who desire it, I welcome deep conversations about meaning, faith, and personal values as part of the healing process.
One message I often share with clients is:
“Never get stuck where you are. Stay open to being surprised by who you can become when you embrace life’s challenges.”
About Sandy:
Outside of counseling, I am a wife and mother of three children. I am naturally extroverted, and relationships are a big part of what fills my cup, whether it’s gathering friends for dinner, hosting a game or movie night, or spending hours in meaningful conversation.
I also love serving the metro Atlanta community and through church ministries, where I can encourage others and stay connected to causes that are important to me.
Traveling outside of Atlanta and even the country is another passion of mine. I enjoy exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and learning how people see and experience the world. Europe holds a special place in my heart, and I am always excited for the next adventure there.
With all the busyness of life, I have learned to appreciate simple moments too. Sitting outdoors with a cup of coffee, practicing gratitude, and taking time to reflect help me stay grounded and present and sometime its all what I truly need.
