Meet Allie
Hi there! I am so glad you are here! My name is Allie Raymond and I am a Board Certified Licensed Master of Social Work and a Certified Trauma Professional. My passion for this work grew from my own therapy journey as a teenager navigating anxiety and depression. During a time when the world felt overwhelming and isolating, therapy offered me hope, understanding, and healing. Those experiences shaped my calling to become a therapist and to support children, adolescents, and young adults as they face anxiety, depression, and other challenging emotions. I understand from personal experience how vulnerable it can feel to sit on the other side of the couch, and I honor the courage it takes to ask for help. It is truly an honor for me to walk alongside individuals as they discover their strength, resilience, and capacity for growth. I would be honored to work together to support you in overcoming challenges and moving toward healing and flourishing.
How I work
“I can’t do it”
“There is nothing left to look forward to”
“This will define me”
“Why is this happening to me?”
“My child needs help. I don’t know where to turn”
These are the phrases I often hear among the individuals who come into the therapy room. In a world filled with challenges and uncertainty, I help facilitate the transition from living a life of fear to experiencing a sense of emotional freedom despite your circumstances. I am deeply passionate about coming alongside children, teenagers, and young adults who may feel isolated, empty, stuck, or weighed down by other complex emotions. Through a balance of empathetic understanding and direct, supportive guidance, I strive to create a safe and trusting space where clients can process their experiences, build on their strengths, and work toward meaningful goals.
Finding emotional freedom, building resilience, and living authentically are at the heart of my work
I believe counseling is not a one-size-fits-all process. You are more than your circumstances, and your experiences do not define who you are. By integrating a variety of therapeutic approaches, we will collaborate to find what best supports your needs. Your feedback is always welcome as you have a voice in this process because you are the expert on your own life, and I am here to support your individual journey.
My hope is to provide a space where you can process the past, remain grounded in the present, and move forward with renewed hope for the future. I look forward to the opportunity to work together to create meaningful, lasting change. Thank you in advance for putting your trust in me to walk alongside you in your journey!
More about me
Outside of the office, I enjoy staying active through Pure Barre and spending meaningful time with friends and family. Some of my favorite ways to unwind include exploring local coffee shops and traveling with friends. For self-care you can often find me reading, journaling, and listening to podcasts. At home, I cherish time with my animals and yes, despite popular belief, cats and dogs really can be best friends! I also find joy in being outdoors, whether that’s hiking, taking walks, or exploring new paths while soaking in God’s beautiful creation and offering a time of reflection to see where God is moving in my day to day!
