Meet Allie

Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here.

My name is Allie Raymond, and I am a Board Certified Licensed Master Social Worker who specializes in counseling for children, teens, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, and overwhelming emotions.

My passion for this work grew from my own experience in therapy as a teenager. During a season when life felt overwhelming and isolating, therapy became a place where I found understanding, hope, and healing. That experience shaped my calling to become a therapist so I could support young people and families walking through similar challenges.

I understand how vulnerable it can feel to reach out for help, whether you are a parent worried about your child or a young person trying to make sense of difficult emotions. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported as whole people, not just defined by the challenges they bring into the room.

It is truly an honor to walk alongside individuals and families as they discover their strength, build resilience, and move toward healing and growth.

How I work

Parents often reach out when they notice their child struggling in ways they’re not sure how to help.

I often hear things like:

“I can’t do it.”
“Nothing matters anymore.”
“Why is this happening to me?”
“My child seems anxious all the time.”
“I just want my child to feel like themselves again.”

Watching your child struggle with anxiety, depression, low confidence, or overwhelming emotions can feel heartbreaking and confusing. Many parents feel unsure of what to do next.

Therapy can provide a supportive space where children and teens learn to understand their emotions, develop healthy coping skills, and build confidence in themselves. I work with young people who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, isolated, or unsure how to express what they’re going through.

Through a balance of compassionate listening and practical tools, I help clients:

  • Understand and express their emotions
  • Develop coping skills for anxiety and stress
  • Build confidence and self-esteem
  • Strengthen emotional regulation
  • Navigate life transitions and challenges
  • Grow in resilience and emotional awareness

My goal is to help clients move from feeling overwhelmed by their emotions to feeling empowered to navigate life with greater confidence, hope, and language.

I believe therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. Every child, teen, and family has a unique story, and counseling should reflect that.

In our work together, I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches to support each client’s needs. Therapy is collaborative, meaning your voice and feedback are always welcome throughout the process. You are the expert on your life, and my role is to provide guidance, encouragement, and practical tools along the way.

My hope is to provide a space where clients can safely process difficult emotions, develop healthy coping strategies, and move forward with renewed confidence and hope.

At the heart of my work is the belief that meaningful change happens when people feel safe, supported, and understood.

More about me

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy staying active and spending meaningful time with friends and family. I love exploring local coffee shops, traveling with friends, and finding small moments of joy in everyday life.

For self-care, you can often find me reading, journaling, or listening to podcasts. At home, I enjoy time with my animals, watching the newest season of a binge worthy show, or finding a new craft. I also find peace in spending time outdoors through hiking and walks in nature. These moments often provide space for reflection and gratitude as I notice the ways God is present in the rhythms of everyday life.
